RP:]] St Luke's Reform School For Young Gentlemen

I place my finger to my lips as I listen to what my Dad's got to say.

"OK Dad, OK... yep, I'll tell him. Thanks," I say before hanging up on my Dad and turning back to Chris.

"OK. He's not feeling too good right now, but Brian's round there for some reason unknown to him, and me. So, he said that he'd come and get you, that OK?"

I really should go with him because what if he has another attack in the car? I mean, Brian doesn't know how to control him, that's why I didn't call Dad Z. But Brian is a little more level headed than Dad Z when it comes to Chris. They seem to have some male bond there.

"Chris, do you really think that Becky is shallow enough to want to date a football player? They are melon headed idiots, and Becky was the one that told me that," I tell him as I stand up from the bench and look around the locker room.

"And cheerleader? Honestly dude," I laugh a little as I grab his shirt and pass it to him.

I really shouldn't tell him now that Becky is planning on trying out for cheerleader. Well, I can tell him when he's not likely to break down and cry on my new shirt.

"Come on, get your shirt back on. Brian will be heat pretty quickly, well, if I know his driving he will do anyway."

OK, I can see where he is coming from now. A lot of the jocks do flirt with Becky. A few times it's my fault because I secretly bet the jocks that they can't get with her, just to win some extra money for myself. But she would always turn them down, because she's in on it, and she hates jocks, that's why I always get the money.

"And Becky likes skinny little Chris because you don't crush her in a death hug," I tell him as I grab his bag for him off the floor and help him to his feet.

"Look, she's my best friend. If she didn't want to go out with you, she'd tell me, and you know I would always tell you. Besides, I know what she likes. And for some weird reason, it's you, and, don't tell her I said this, but it has being you for a long time."

Becky is so going to kill me for telling him that, but desperate times call for desperate measures.

"No, you don't have to bulk up like a body builder," I tell him with a smile as I help him to his feet.

I wrap my arm around his waist to keep him up on his feet. I don't want him falling flat on his face as he did lose a lot of blood. Even if it is from his hands, it's still a lot since he is still bleeding now.

"She is so gonna kill me for telling you this but... you remember when you had your hair majority cut a few weeks before we started our sophomore year?"

He nods at me as we both recall the long brown curly bangs he used to have. He used to be a proper greasy metal head at one time, much to Dad Z's disapproval.

"Well, she's pretty much liked you since you had the blue in your hair. I mean, that first day of sophomore year, she thought you were my boyfriend. Which was gross but, she's liked you since then."

"I told him to meet us outside the main doors. Dad M said he'd call the office to tell them what has happened and I can tell them what Dawkins did," I leave it there so I don't go into the details of what Dawkins actually did to open new wounds again.

I open the locker room door and look around, and luckily everyone should be in lesson now. And since Chris is looking a little worse for wear, me may not be asked for hall passes.

I walk down the hallway with Chris in toll as we walk down the crazily long hallway towards the office.

"Besides, telling off Dawkins is exactly what I plan to do today. Since he seems to have some crush on me, he'll know he'll never get me now."

"Don't worry, I won't get into trouble, especially when I can do this..." I put my finger into the air as we walk along.

I can feel Chris's eyes on me as I think of the saddest thing that I can think of and I feel tears brimming in my eyes.

"Miss. I can't believe he would be so mean. Everyone knows that Chris has a condition, and they still did this. How could they do this to my poor brother? My poor, sweet brother. I love him so much and they have hurt him so badly..."

I turn back to Chris and sniff a little as we make it down the long hallway, "do I really need to go on?" I smirk.

I look over at the cheer-leading team at the other end of the quad. I shake my head before letting go of Chris and handing him his backpack.

"Alright bro," I hug him gently before looking back at him.

"Don't worry, I'll sort everything out. I've just got think of something like drowning puppies to get the waterworks going," I say to him with a wink.

I stand in the middle of the playground, watching as Brian goes speeding off down the road before Chris barely had a chance to get into the car.

I shake my head a little before looking over at the cheerleaders practising, I look at the bench to see Becky sitting on one of the benches, obviously waiting for her try outs. I would go over to her and suggest doing some weird double act but I have other business to take care of.

Right, dead puppies, drowned at birth, by my Dad, because he's being forced to or he'll die by the hands of a homophobic... OK, that'll do it.

I sniff as a wave of tears come down my cheeks before I turn my heel and make my way back into the school. Ready to give that bastard Jordan just what he deserves.

MEANWHILE ON THE PLAYING FIELD

I sigh and nervously reign my hands together as I stay sat on the bench with the other girls. I am one of the youngest ones here, and so far, I think I am the best one here. All the other girls from my grade and younger have already gone and they have being torn apart by the panel of cheerleaders.

"I've seen better co-ordination from a blind man on fire," One of the cheerleaders says heartlessly to one of the girls stood in front of them.

This really was a bad idea, I am so not cut out for this. I can't be mean, I can take mean, but I can't dish it out. But... I need some extra curricular activities for college applications next year and since the dance and rhythmic gymnastics clubs are full, this is my last chance.

My head shoots up as soon as I hear my name being called out. I let out a long shaky breath before standing to my feet and making my way over to the little part of grass which is marked off with little cones and random scattered pom-poms. I smile up at the panel of cheerleaders hazardously.

This is it. Becky Gordon, died on the battle field, at one thirty, fighting for her rights to be a goth on the cheer-leading squad.
