RP:]] St Luke's Reform School For Young Gentlemen

"Can't a father just sit in his daughter's room until she gets home from school so he can see how she is?" I ask, knowing for a fact it isn't going to work.

I continue with my big dimpled smile, hoping to soften her somewhat. Apparently she's the only person on this earth immune to it. Probably the reason Chris never wins fights with her.

"Or sneak into her room so he can put a certain, very important letter on her bed?"

I bring the stark white envelope from behind my back, "Like this one?"

[[I have no idea what the letter's for. It was the first idea to come to mind.]]

I narrow my eyes at my Dad before walking over to him and taking the letter carefully from his hand, as if it is likely to explode in my hand.

"Thanks?" I say as I look over the envelope, I read the front and notice that the address is on it, it's not either of my Dad's hand writing, or anyone's I recongize, so I am even more confused.

That is until I recall what happened a few weeks ago and my eyes widen.

I'd be lying if I wasn't a little concerned about what this letter was. All I know is that it's got a do not bend stamp on it and an important one too. It could be anything.

"Is this something me and your other dad should know about, Courtney?"

"No, y'know, of course now!I t's just, y'know, a letter from a pen pal, y'know? And I would rather read it alone, y'know?" I say.

Ooooh great, now I am blushing and doing a lot of hedging. A trend that I have also inheritded from Dad Z. Great, if Dad M can get anything out of Dad Z when he does that I just did, he's going to see right through me.

"So, if you'd like to, y'know, just leave me now. I'm sure I'll have something to tell you about it later?"

"Since when have you had a penpal?" I ask, sitting on her bed.

Since the twins have hit their teenage years, I keep feeling like they're slipping away from me. I want them to know their dad is still interested in them. I still want to know about them, what kind of people they're growing up to be.

"I thought you kids only used e-mail and texting these days. The art of snail mail long since dying out." I say, smiling nostalgically, "Unless of course you're receiving cheeky presents in the post."

No, no, it's just a small envelope. It's not going to be anything it shouldn't be. What kind of bad things can fit in a small envelope like that?

"Cheeky presents?" I say before laughing, "Oh man, that's funny Dad noooooooo..." I stop the laughter as I shift on my feet.

"It's just a pen-pal from... Seattle. She's a little old fashioned, and she thinks that the internet is evil, so she uses letters. Besides, it's always good to practice my handwriting," I nod, hoping that this is a hell of a lot more convincing out of my mouth than it sounds in my head right now.

"It's all pretty innocent Dad, I mean, you can read the letter if you like..."

NO! This isn't Dad Zee! He will read the letter! He will want to find out what's going on with me. Oh GOD, why did I have to say that, why, why, WHY?!?!?

Try and act natural here. I don't need her to think I'm worried about what kind of things she has here. Even though I am worried. Very, very, very worried.

"Well, I don't want to read it before you have a chance, right?" I offer, "Maybe you should just open that up in front of me? Then I won't be worrying that it's something it shouldn't be, will I?"

I cross my arms and look down at the letter, trying to look as though I have some kind of control over the whole situation.

I have nothing to say, I just look at him and then look down at the letter. I bite into my lip as I try to think of some way out of this, but I can't think of a thing. I guess there is only one way out of this, even if it's going to be so very painful.

"Erm, yeah sure, I mean, if you're that worried," I say as if it's nothing before starting to tear open the little white envelope.

I bite into my lip as I see that the photos are wrapped up in a piece of paper, thank God. I pull the papers out of the letter, leaving the photos in the envelope before throwing the envelope to the floor, hoping to God that my Dad didn't see that there was pictures in there.

"Ooooh, she's moved down from three pages to one page now," I laugh a little before unfolding the paper and looking it over as if it's nothing at all, just a harmless letter finding out how I am doing, not.

I snatch up the envelope from the floor, seeing a small pocket of something. I'm assuming these are the photos. Before Courtney can protest, I pull the paper from the pictures and am confronted with a teenage boy jerking off.

I can feel my eyes widen so much that they might full out of my sockets. My face feels so hot now, I bet I look redder than a tomato and I can feel my throat completely dry up.

"Dad, it's not what you think. I have no idea who that guy is!" I say as I hold my hands up.

"Erm, would it help if I said I was sorry?"

I'm trying very hard to remain calm here. I don't want to completely freak out on her and then make her think she can't ever come to me again. Like my parents.

"No, to be honest, it probably wouldn't." I say, dropping the pictures face down on the bed, "I'm shocked, Courtney."

I'm trying desperately hard to think of something else to say to her, something other than how shocked and appalled I am right now.

"How... why... what the hell?"

"I'm sorry Dad, it's just," I can't think of anything to explain myself.

I didn't exactly do this with in mind of what my parents were going to say. I just did it because he was hot, and showing me some attention. I mean, he's a freaking senior guy, and he was interested in me. I look down at my shoes.

"This guy just, he gave me some attention, and I liked it, so I don't know," I'm mumbling now because I don't really want to explain myself sexually to my Dad, what girl does? God, it's times like these when I wish I wasn't the only female in the house.

I still want to be mad at her. This is wrong and digusting and depraved and exactly the kind of thing Zacky would have done at her age.

Goddamnit.

I sigh heavily, "Oh sweetie."

I wrap my arm around her shoulder, "You know boys that do this kind of thing are only interested in one thing. You're only 15, you've got all the time in the world to explore this side of you."

I really don't want to make any allusions to her budding sexuality. The mere thought of my little girl being interested in boys like this makes me want to send her to a convent.

"But I want to start now," I say before pulling away from the hug and sighing, "look Dad. I know I'm not like Chris, he's innocent and only cares if girls like him for his lips and his personality."

I walk over to the bed and take a seat on it, sitting on the pictures so they can be out of sight, and hopefully out of mind for a little while.

"I'm nearly sixteen and the girls in the locker room talk about how they know exactly what they like and exactly how to get there. I guess, it kinda pissed me off because they could do that with guys and guys wanted to do that with them, and all I had was... myself."

I guess I'm over-sharing here. But I don't have an older sister of a mum to talk about this with. The only female close to the family is Brian's girlfriend. And I wouldn't trust her to look after a pet hamster, let along my personal sex life angst.

I didn't know she felt this way. Then again I suppose it isn't easy to say these things to your parents, especially when they're both men. It's the only time I ever feel bad about who I am, when my little girl's too afraid to open up to me.

"Y'know, at your age it's only normal to be curious about these things." I say, starting with that wonderful cliche line, "But getting some strange guy to send you things like this is just a little... weird. You don't want to just throw yourself at the first boy who shows any kind of interest in you, honey."

I rub her shoulder, "You need to fnd a nice boy who likes you for you. Not just for your good looks."

"I know, I know. I guess, I just wasn't thinking that night when I talked to him," I say, not mentioning the fact that I was actually drunk with a friend while I was typing to this guy, "I'm sorry."

"I just didn't know what to do, y'know? All my friends are pretty content with just having any guy touch them. I don't want that, I just... wanted to work it out on my own. And I just got some bad advice I guess."

"I'm sorry for scaring you Dad," I say quietly as I look up at him with a small smile on my face.

He can't really punish me for this, can he?

"You will be." I warn her with a playful finger wag.

I smile at her before pulling her into a hug, "It's okay, honey, just... no more talking to horny teenage boys over the internet. Or at least no exchanging pictures with them."

And the child lock is so going back on her computer. Zacky and I had spotted it's removal but chose not to say anything because we figured we could trust her. Well, Zacky did, I freaked out like the big girl I am when it comes to my kids. Apparently that's not the case.

"OK Dad, I promise I won't do it again," I smile slightly as I hug my Dad.

"I'll block this guy on myspace tonight so he can't talk to me anymore as well."

OK, I won't do that because we have become pretty close friends. But, I will tell Dad that, just so he'll stop worrying about me. I mean, I may be his little girl still, but I am not a complete baby, I'm basically a young woman now.

"Okay, thank you." I say.

She's not going to do it. She's going to continue talking to him and in a week, she'll come home pregnant and I'll have to kill him. There'll be no option but to kill him. I wonder if I can hack into her MySpace?

"But I'll be taking those pictures please." I say, holding my hand out.

She begrudgingly passes them to me, "Thank you."

I get up from the bed, slipping the pictures into my pocket, "I'll see you later, sweetie."

"Yeah, I'll see you later," I say to my Dad as I watch him leave the room.

I wait until he has shut the door when I sigh and lay back on my bed.

"Ooooh, fuck me I can't believe it," I say to myself, covering my face with my hands and shaking my head.

I can't believe he caught me. I really can't believe it at all. I have being so careful as well, what are the odds that he's home the day the letter comes through the post.

I've got to tell Becky about this.

I sigh and wipe my hand over my sweat slicked forehead as I look up at the work I have just done on the underside of the car. I smile and nod when I am satisfied that I have completed what I set out to do before pulling myself out from under the car and sitting on the floor to grab a rag.

I admire the classic in front of me, smiling as I do so. I can hardly believe that I have the pleasure of restoring this classic. Even though it may not be mine and after I am done I am going to have to see it part from me, but hey, it's in my garage so it is technically mine in some degree.

I wipe the grease from my hands with the rag before throwing it aside and looking down at my clothes. Oh man, Matt is going to kill me for fixing up this car in one of my good polo shirts.

I head down the stairs, mentally plotting ways to kill this boy without anyone knowing. Maybe Jacoby could help me out with that? I mean, he must have some contacts in the force. Maybe he gets the one free kill like the president does?

I push open the door to Zacky's garage as I continue my plots. I'm going to have to practice my innocent looks.

"Zee, you... are covered in oil. Do you have any idea how much that shirt cost?" I ask, hands on my hips.

I widen my eyes and blink as I swallow down my mouthful of beer. That's the great thing about working at home, you can drink on the job and no one can yell at you. Well, apart from Matt.

"Erm, I forgot I was wearing it?" I offer as I stand to my feet and walk over to Matt.

The look on his face tells me that he is less than impressed with me, oh no, "OK. I'm sorry, I haven't planned on doing any work today, but, she was calling to me, begging to me to fix her gear box."

I stroke the car bonnet before pulling a sad face at Matt but I notice something in his eyes. He's not upset about the shirt, otherwise he would have cheered up by now, but he just looks more pissed than ever.

"Matt, what's happened?"

"Well aside from the fact I'm going to have to clean that because you still can't work the washing machine." I hate how overly gay I become when I'm pissed off, "Our little girl has been... well, see for yourself."

I pull the photos from my pocket and thrust them into his hands, "They came with a very nice note which hinted at her sending some similar ones back."

I furrow my brow at him before looking down at the photos in my hand, I turn them over and look them over. As my eyes and my brain actually register what is on the glossy page, I swear my eyes actually fall out of their sockets.

"Wh-wh-what..." I swallow before taking a very long breath and throwing the photos aside so I can actually think coherently without distracting.

"WHAT THE HELL DOES SHE THINK SHE'S PLAYING AT?!" I all but yell before looking down at the pictures on the floor again, and I swear something inside me snaps.

"COURTNEY!!!" I scream before matching towards the door leading to the house.
