I find it weirdly easy to sleep after something major's just happened. It's like my brain just completely shuts down, closing me down along with it. I can feel myself drifting off pretty much instantly, as per usual mumbling something completely random about old men and skateboards.

[[Who elses reactions to the death need doing? Or should we jump a week or so forward and get started on the major plot point ideas we had with it. Emo Coby wanting to step down, Brian wanting to get his dad thrown away, Matt talking Alex down? I think we had more but I can't remember them.]]

A WEEK LATER

It's being a very solemn week at St Luke's. The memorial of Chris's death was one of the most sad and depressing times of the students lives. Everyone was as close as ever, everyone being sorry for Alex, helping him out. Everyone expect Jacoby.

Coby had plans for Alex, told his friends about him. Noticing how Alex wasn't showing as much remorse as he should have done. He wasn't crying, he wasn't in silence. He seemed to be holding up, and to Coby, that wasn't normal.

I smile at Brian as I leave the room, grinning and saying goodbye to him before making my way down the hall.

I walk up to hall, ready to knock on Tony's door and get ready for the confrontation of a murderer.

I'm about to knock when the door opens.

I step back a little, I don't want him knocking on my face again. My nose still isn't quite right after the last time.

He's got his game face on now, ready for business. Truth be told I'm more excited about this than I should be. It's been too long since I've had the chance to confront someone like this. I've missed the thrills.

"You ready?"

I look down the hallways before looking back at Tony. I nod firmly before speaking.

"Ready as I'll ever be," I say to him with a small shrug, before stepping back and watching as Tony and one of his other friends, Joel, steps out of the room with him.

"So, let's get this over with," I say before starting down the hall with the others in toll.

I am really not going to enjoy reliving all this.

I follow Coby down the hall, Joel at my side. I feel like we're in some kind of gangster film. That's probably due to the fact I'm an absolute dork when it comes to things like this and I love doling out punishment. Especially with my fists.

I rub my hands together gleefully. I've got to remember why we're doing this and try not to take too much enjoyment in the mindless destruction of this bastard. As much as I want to.

"You want to go in first or are we just going to ambush him altogether?"

I sigh, not answering Tony's question and putting my game face on. I tell Joel to stand at the side of the door to stand guard, I turn to Tony and nod to him as he knocks on the door.

I put my foot near the door so that when it opens I can slide my foot into the door frame so he can't slam it in our faces.

We all stay silent, waiting for Alex to finally open the door.

I look up from my feet and look towards the door.

I blink a few times, getting back into the real world that doesn't revolve around the small spot of red on the floor where Chris was lying, bleeding, while I was blinded with rage.

I sigh before standing to my feet and walking over towards the door. I pull open the door and look around to see Jacoby and Tony, both with game faces on.

Fuck. I can't deal with this right now.

I go to slam the door shut but something is making it stuck.

It's even more fun when they're not in the mood to get their asses beat. Just means they're not ready for whatever you're throwing at them. Makes it easier for us.

I lift a hand to Alex by way of greeting, "Hey sweet cheeks."

I do love to taunt.

I widen my eyes as Coby's foot pushes at the door, pushing it open with his foot and out of my hand. I am thrown back a little as he barges his way into the room without saying a word to his smiling friend that is Tony behind him.

"Look guys, I don't know why you are hear, and why you look like you mean business, but if this is another talk about the sudden crabs outbreak, I don't think this is really the time..."

I wince a little as Coby's finger lands on my lip, stopping me from talking and just looking at the tip of his slightly shaking finger.

Sudden crabs outbreak, does he know something I don't? I look to Coby to see he's firmly fixed on Alex now. Time to push STI's to the back of my mind and focus on the bigger picture.

I decide my best bet is being silent but deadly. If I open my mouth, no doubt this will turn into a farce.

I shoot my best glare at Alex, trying desperately to look threatening.

"Don't. Change. The subject," I say to Alex as I walk closer and closer to him, backing him up against the wall.

He slams against the wall with a thump, not taking his eyes from me as I look him directly into his scared eyes.

"Now, I know that you had something to do with Chris's death. I heard him scream, I saw you run, I have heard things, in the night. Are you going to tell me what happened? Or should I just give you a taste of your own medicine?"

I have my menacing voice on now, the one I have never shown around Brian before. The one that Tim taught me to do when I was being bullied back in my second year. It does work to make goosebumps rise on your enemies skin. It's so bone chilling, I'm slightly proud of myself for it.

I join Coby in the room, Joel stays outside, standing guard. It's not like anyone would do anything to us if they caught us, it's just easier to get a point rammed home without being interrupted.

I stay a safe distance behind the pair, watching as Coby works his magic. I'm not attracted to him usually but the amount of times I've had to sneak a cheeky jerk off over this side of him is almost embarassing.

I just stand looking as dangerous as possible.

Alex is just keeping his mouth firmly closed, tears are now forming in his eyes and I know that he knows something about Chris's death.

I look at him firmly, keeping my eyes trained on his until he has to break the gaze, letting out a small cry as he does so.

"Tell. Me. Now."

I sit down on the bed, not really feeling very menacing right now. I can't concentrate on what I'm supposed to be doing. I'm too busy focusing on bad, bad Coby. I'm a terrible person, this is a serious situation, we're supposed to be dealing with Chris' killer and I'm thinking about my dick.

I'm sorry Chris, you can personally kick me into hell.

[[Poor Brian. But yeah, that works, Coby maybe doing it as part of his grief?]]

He is still not talking, biting into his lip now. He is going to break soon, I know it, I just need to keep up this streak. Maybe a little bit of punishment will help things along though. I mean, I don't want Brian to come looking for me anytime soon.

"Look Alex. I will ask you again," I reach my hand up to hold him by his throat, pushing him against the wall again, "what do you KNOW?!"

I ask him a little more forcefully this time, still not letting my guard down completely, but letting me loose my cool for a little bit.

Tony, focus on kicking Alex's ass now, convincing Coby to fuck you just once later.

I get up from the bed and walk across to the pair, "He not talking yet, Cobes? Coz my fists are itching to get some pummeling done."

I crack my knuckles as a display of just how eager I am right now and focus on the bastard in front of me.

I look at the two in front of me, Coby has got a grasp on my neck, just enough to hurt my neck but not enough to make me have no oxygen.

I look between the two of them, "There is nothing."

I said that a little too high pitched and like I was trying to hide something. And I am, it is all my fault, but I can't tell them that, because they will beat me into the ground. I can't let that happen, I don't want to live up to the fact that I killed my best friend.

"You know Alex, you're best off being honest with us." I explain, "Coby here hates liars."

I look back to Coby, the hard look on his face. It was a stupid idea, it's making me want him even more. I'm scared of this sudden attraction. Normally it's just a fleeting thing, something I can push aside until I'm alone. Now it's so much stronger. It's still just lust, I don't have any feelings for Coby. I know he's happy with Brian and despite all his shortcomings and slightly weird demeanour, I can't think of anyone I'd rather see my best friend with. Maybe it's just the grief? I want him because I'm hurting and I know he'll make it feel better.

I turn my attention back to Alex, "So, you want to spill it, Alex?"

I look over to Tony quickly, smiling at him showing that I am not just angry in general and taking it out on Alex, but that I am genuinely pissed off with Alex and Alex alone. It's a tactic I learnt works wonders.

I look back at Alex, a stern look on my face.

"That's right, I hate liars, more than I hate... murderers," I say the last bit in a deadly quiet voice.

I know it was a little out there, and probably the most terrible thing to accuse him off. But his quivering lip shows me that it hit the right spot.

"You might wanna listen to him Alex, you won't like him when he's angry."

I fold my arms and lean against the wall by Alex, smirking all the while. I quirk an eyebrow at him, "So do you want to explain what happened or are we going to have to beat it out of you? Because I know what I'd prefer and I think Coby's thinking the same thing."
