A WEEK OR SO LATER

"Come on Zacky, take me, take me like you always wanted to."

"No, Mattie no, I can't. It's wrong it's..."

Before I know it his lips are on mine, kissing me with all the passion we had all those years ago. But now it's not out of love and innocence, it's out of lust and sexual desire. He wants me, and not in the way I loved him.

"We can't," I choke out.

I try to push him away but all he does is push his naked hard on harder onto my own, making me moan in need. I need it, I want it, but I can't have it. It's wrong, so very wrong.

I've got to stop staring at him from across the room. It's weird, it's creepy, it's not exactly normal but I can't help it. I've had a bad fucking day, forced to work with Chris fucking Barker in every lesson I had. He wouldn't make any kind of conversation for fear of upsetting me. I'm sick of people treating me like I'm some made of glass. He can talk about Alex, I don't care.

So now, I'm cranky and I can't sleep. But just staring at Zacky makes me feel calmer for some reason. It's nothing sexual, I still don't think of Zacky like that, he's just got a really calming presence on me.

I prop myself up on the bed to get a better view of him, of the plump cheeks, the slightly parted lips, the glittering horseshoe through his septum. I sigh as I feel the calm aura washing over me again.

"Baby, please, what we had was amazing, please don't change that."

I beg with him as he palms at my erection. I can't push him away from me, something is holding me back. And I know that it's my selfish self for wanting this so badly, just as much as he does.

He just tells me to stop talking, all but dragging me from the shower to our bedroom. I'm aching so much for this, I can't stop him. I don't want to. I can't change the future. But this doesn't make the tears in my eyes go away.

"Please Mattie," I whimper as I start to shake, my breathing starting to rush.

I can hear him whimpering now. Is he having another one of his nightmares? Oh God. What do I do?

I get out of my bed and approach him in the bed, resting a hand lightly on his arm, "Zacky? Zacky, baby, wake up, you're having a nightmare."

He clings onto my arm as he pushes me up against the wall.

"Mattie, you're hurting me," I whimper as he tightens his grip before smirking at me, marching the one that I had one my face all the way through school. He tells me how much he misses me and how he can't wait to get inside me before pushing me up against the wall further and kissing me. Sloppily. I hate it.

I could push him off, tell him how sick this is. But I can't. I just can't.

I let out a scream against his lips, trying to get him away from me but it's not working.

This scream in my dream is projected into my living form. I jolt away from the feeling of someone touching my arm. I cry out as I push myself as far up to the wall as I can, crying to myself.

"Don't. Don't. Don't."

Fuck, what's wrong with him? He looks so scared, so childlike. I've never seen him like this. It's actually freaking me out. My eyes flick up to the time. It's 12.53AM. My eyes look back to the phone. This is normally the time when most students are screwing around or sleeping after screwing around.

I'd feel guilty interrupting Coby and Brian, considering they've been bitching about being interrupted a lot recently. But I've not got any other option.

I grab the phone and call Coby's number hoping he'll pick up and not want me dead.

I groan in frustration as I feel my phone go off in my pocket, thus sending vibrations into my lovely boyfriends cock as my mouth is firmly wrapped around it. Not for long though.

I pull off of Brian with a sorry and a grumble as I pull my phone from my pocket and look over the screen. I'm about ready to yell thinking it's Tony or something, but when I see Matt's name across the screen, I furrow my brow. He never calls. Something must be up.

I press call and press the phone to my ear, "Matt?"

I look across at Zacky as I talk to Coby, "Hi, uh, I'm not interrupting or anything am I?"

I don't even give him chance to respond before I jump back in, "It's Zacky, he's kinda... I don't know, he's having a really intense nightmare, crying and shit."

I turn away from Zacky, the sight of him like this is scaring me now.

"I'm scared he's going to end up hurting himself."

"Wait, wait, hold on, what?" I say to Matt as he starts to ramble a little bit. I tell him to tell me again calmly and he does so, I nod along to what he's saying even though he can't see me.

"Right, OK Matt. Just stay there with Zee. I'll be right there," I say to him in a calm voice, looking at Brian as I do so. I nod to myself as he tells me to hurry on the other end of the phone before hanging up on me.

I sigh as I close my phone and start to pocket it.

"I am so sorry Angel, duty calls," I say with a slight smile as I pull on my shirt.

I smile weakly at him before leaning down and placing a kiss on his nose.

"I'll be back before you know it Bri, I promise."

The whines I heard from Brian make me feel really guilty. I'll have to get him one of those cookies he's addicted to as an apology tomorrow. I put the phone down and turn back to Zacky.

"It's okay, Zee, it's okay baby."

I want to hold him to make him feel better but I'd probably just freak him out even more right now and he doesn't need that.

"Coby'll be here soon, he'll know what to do."

I walk down a small set of stairs to Zacky's dorm corridor. I jump down the last few stairs before practically sprinting to Zacky's dorm.

I don't know what's going on here, but I've always wondered why Zacky was really put into this place. I've seen his transcripts, he was a straight A student in his past schools. There has got to be something more sinister at work here than just a guy that didn't get on with his teachers. Something emotional deeper.

I turn the handle on the dorm door and slip inside, smiling at Matt and closing the door behind me so no one out in the halls can hear Zacky's whimpers.

"What's going on actually?" I ask Matt as I walk over to the bed and look over at the sweating, shaking black haired boy, whimpering and tortured behind his twitching eyelids.

"He... he's having a nightmare." I explain, "He's had them before but they've never been as intense as this. I can normally hold him and they'll go away."

I can't tell Coby what the dreams are about, what's happening to him. I promised Zacky I wouldn't. I know Coby wouldn't tell anyone but I don't want to take any chances on him rejecting Zacky because of how weird it is.

"I'm sorry I called but I know you've had to deal with this before with that Seward kid." I say, smiling weakly, "I didn't know what else to do."

I smile weakly at him, "It's OK man. I know," I pat him on the shoulder before sitting down on the bed next to Zacky.

I place a hand on his shoulder as pull at him as I climb onto his bed, he tries to struggle and I just try to remember what I did with Johnny.

I look down at his now whimpering form and bring him closer to me.

"Zacky, Zacky come on Baby, it's Coby, come down Sweetie, whatever it is, it's not going to hurt you," I say to him as I try to bring him closer to my chest but he tries to resist me in his sleep.

"Zacky. I'm not going to hurt you, come on..."

I stand and watch helplessly as Coby tries to bring Zacky down. I feel so helpless. I'm supposed to beable to help Zacky with these things. I'm his best friend, it's what I do. Why am I so useless here?

I look up above me, something we all seem to do when we're adressing the dead. As if they're only ever goin to be above us.

Please Matt, help your brother out here.[i]

"Bab-Mattie, it hurts, stop please..." I cry into the pillow as he pushes harder into me.

I can't believe I'm letting him do this to me. I pushed him out of my life so I didn't have to think how disgusting I was, and now I am just letting him back in again.

"Plea-Please..." I groan, weeping even harder into the pillow.

My voice can't even be heard anymore until...

My eyes snap open and I look up to see a shadow of someone sitting over me

"MATTIE! STOP!!" I scream out as I hit my arms and legs out to try and get away from the grasps of my brother.

I widen my eyes before grabbing a pillow and pressing it over Zacky's motuh, the last thing he needs is for someone in this place to hear his screams.

"Shit," I lean over him, still holding onto his flailing body and getting down as close down to his face as I can.

"Zacky, no stop it, it's Coby," I tell him as I look over him at his tear filled terrified eyes.

"It's Coby."

Mattie? What's hurting him in his dreams?

I smile a little. I feel better now I know Zacky's awake and he'll be okay. I was really worried for a moment. I'd kinda thought he may have ended up going catatonic and never being okay again. Or something equally as ludicrous.

I move to the bed and smile at Zacky, "It's okay, Zacky, it's just us."

I nervously sit on the bed, further away from Coby, a safe distance from him and Coby. I don't want them Zacky to feel like he's being crowded here.

Zacky seems to have realised who I am and that I'm not likely to hurt him. He clings to my shirt tightly, crying and breathing heavily into the fabric. I stroke at his hair trying to calm him further so he can talk rather than cry his problems to me.

There has got to be something is really wrong here. I have never seen Zacky like this in all the years he's being here. I've seen him a little upset from time to time, but he normally countered that with anger. This right here, is just pure fear and from my experience, heart break? But he said Matt. Who's Matt? This Matt? What the hell is going on?

I look up at Matt at the other end of the bed and mouth to him, "What's going on? Tell me, now."

I don't like being left in the dark when it comes to my boys.

I can't spill this to Coby, not without Zacky consenting to it. It's not fair, it's breaking a promise, it's revealing something really private, something illegal, something potentially dangerous.

"He... I'm not the Matt." I say,just to get the ball rolling, Zacky can stop me if he needs to. At the moment he seems to be too busy crying on Coby to be able to stop me though.

"Matt's his little brother." I explain, "He was... he was killed back over Christmas."

It's as much as he's going to get out of me without Zacky's permission. I just hope it's good enough.

I bite my lip after hearing all I need to hear.

When I hear and feel Zacky let out a low cry and cling a little harder to me, I know that this has really effected him.

"Oooh," I say to Matt before looking down at Zacky, "I'm so sorry Baby."

I put my hand under his chin to make him face me. He looks down so I can't see his face, and I can't blame him. When you have the reputation he does, you don't want anyone to see you cry. So I carry on regardless.

"Zacky Baby, I know it hurts, but you need to talk to someone about this, or your nightmares will get worse. I know you've spoken to Matt, and getting it out can help, but you'll need to talk to him some more. Just tell him how much you miss your little brother. If that's OK with him," I look over at Matt, still stroking the side of Zacky's face.

I nod, smiling a little.

"It's fine with me. Zee, you know you can always tell me anything. You've already proved that, right?" I say, moving a little closer to them, "I'm not going to judge. Even if you just want a cry and a cuddle."

I just want to bring him into my arms and hold him. I want to make everything that's hurting him go away. I want so much to make him feel better, make him feel like he can get through all of this. I just want to hold him and kiss the pain away, even though I probably shouldn't.

"I'm always here for you Zacky."

I sniffle as I look up at Matt from Jacoby's chest, looking at him with wide eyes.

He really does love me.

I all but push myself away from Coby, looking at him a little apologetically before scooting up the bed and hooking my arms around Matt.

"Matty, I'm sorry I scared you," I muffle into his chest as I cling to him more, stroking his back at a fast pace as I try to calm myself down.

I smile down at Zacky as he clings to Matt.

Looks like you didn't need me all along Matt, I think to myself with a smile.

I stand up from the bed and smile down at Matt who looks up at me.

"I'll let myself out, yeah?" I ask Matt who answers with a nod.

"You two, take care of yourselves, and call me if you need me, OK?" I tell them both, just throwing it out there before making my exit towards the door, looking back at the two hugging friends.

And Matt says he's in love with Alex, yeah right.

"Thanks Coby." I mutter into Zacky's hair.

I cling to Zacky like my life depends on it. Or like his does, I'm not completely sure who's does yet. I feel so much better about all of this now I'm the one holding him, bringing him the comfort.

"It's okay, Zee, it's okay. You're allowed to freak out sometimes. It's not your fault." I press little comforting kisses into his hair, "It'll be okay now."
