RP:]] St Luke's Reform School For Young Gentlemen

I bite my lip as soon as I see Chris at the door, I smile at him weakly before pulling him into the room and shutting the door behind him.

"Chrissie, it's nothing to worry about, I swear, it's just," I say before moving around so that my back is flush against the door so Chris can't try to get out, "you know what Dad Z is like whenever Dad M gets sick."

I brace myself against the door for anything that Chris is going to throw at me. I make my body harder in mass like I have learnt to do in situations like this, something I learnt from Dad M. Since we are the only two that can really help him when he has one of his attacks.

I duck from the glass that is thrown at me, luckily it's just a glass of drink not anything that means a lot to me like the last time. But I just try and put the broken glass on the floor behind me before moving forward and grabbing a hold of Chris's shaking arms.

"Chris. Chris, listen to me," I say to him calmly yet sternly as I look right into his eyes so he doesn't feel so alone, "Dad's going to be fine. The ambulance is here now, and they are going to look after him. Dad Z's there with him. It's going to be fine."

I can feel him shaking violently from anger under my grip and his eyes are deadly wide from the anger. His pupils are huge and I can barely keep my eyes on them, but I have to. He needs me to.

"It's OK Chris," I tell him as I feel his shaky calm down a little bit, meaning that he's coming down from his attack.

"Dad Z is going to take Dad M to the hospital, he wants you and me to stay here, to hold down the fort while they're gone."

I neglect to mention that Dad Z wanted Chris to stay here because he didn't think he could handle Chris right now. I know he loves Chris, and sometimes I feel that Chris is Dad Z's Daddy's boy. But he can't handle Chris's episodes, he doesn't know how to defuse them. He just panics.

"Do you think you can calm down for me? Give me a hug, I think we are both in the need of one?" I ask him, trying to take his mind off of his attack by offering him some affection.

I hug him close to me, stroking his hair as we both take a seat on the floor, my back against the bed.

"It's OK baby, you can't control it, I know that," I say as I keep talking to him calmly.

I don't loosen my grip on him completely though, the last time something like this happened, I let him go a little, his anger boiled up again and he nearly end up strangling me and his friend Lucas.

"So, do you want to tell me about your date with Becky?" I ask him, changing the conversation now to get his mind off his attack and off of Dad, even though that's a little hard since the ambulance is now pulling away with the lights flashing and the sirens blurring.

"Really?" I ask him as I look down at his face, still stroking his hair back from his flushed, wet face.

"That's great then isn't it?" I say with a smile. "and there's me thinking that you were going to embarrass yourself."

I laugh a little before letting out a sigh and leaning back against the wall. The house is pretty much silent, it hasn't being like this for a while, we are always the noisiest house in the neighbourhood. Someone is at least normally up until gone 3 in the morning doing something. It's only midnight and it's deadly quiet.

"You know he's going to be OK, right? Dad's strong Chris, he wouldn't let any illness get in the way of his kids."

"Yeah, I was happy until I hear about the ring issue," I say before shuddering, "trust me, no child needs to hear about that."

I laugh a little, "anyway, I'm glad that you and Becky had a nice time. If I'm honest I thought you two weren't gonna get along, I mean, she's a skater and your.... you."

It's probably not the best idea to insult him now, but really, if I was nice to him he would think something was really wrong with Dad. And no matter how much of a pain in the ass he is to me, I don't ever want to scare him like that.

"You know what I mean," I know he's just trying to make jokes to mask how worried he really is, Uncle Brian told me that he does the same thing, he must have got it from him, although can you inherited things from your Dads kinda hot friends.

"And I mean, that she is a punk and you are a metaller. Haven't you seen the News with all those fights in Mexico?" I laugh myself, realising how stupid that sounds because they were emos, but who really cares?

"And of course you can man, we can stay up and watch some movies if you don't feel like sleeping?"

I slap his arm playfully, "Oi, you can't say things like that about other women, you have a girlfriend now."

I love to see the smile on his face when I say that too him, it makes me know that he's calming down a little more and he'll be bouncing around with the best of them pretty soon.

"And I promise they won't be chick flicks, how about some comedies to keep us laughing?"

"Dad Z promised that they would, don't worry about it, he'll keep my posted. And if he doesn't call in like an hour I'll call him and give him a stern talking to, yes?"

"That is true, I remember when you told me about the time you met that dude from that band you liked... you fainted," I laugh a little at the memory of him telling, even though it wasn't so good for me falling off of my chair in the middle of Art class.

"And girls are allowed to look at other guys but that's because not matter what guy they are looking at they always know that their boy is so much cuter, hotter, sweeter, funnier etcetera etcetera. Most guys look at a girl and think, "mmmm pussy."

"So, getting off of that subject, when are you seeing Miss Blue Hair again?"

I smirk at the blush forming on his cheeks before pinching one of them."

"Awww, you are too sweet sometimes, someone's going to take advance of that y'know," I grin.

"Yeah, that might be wise, Dad might wanna rest and all," I say, "or you could ask if you could go round hers instead. It might help you take your mind off of everything."

Plus I don't want Dad Z to be worrying about him and Dad M all of tomorrow.

I shrug and grin at him, "you want me to get off my porn addiction somehow."

I smile innocently at him before getting up from the floor and sitting on my bed, getting some cushions ready so me and Chris can have a good old movie night together, staring up 'til the wee hours.

It's nice that we can still do this sometimes. Even though we do annoy each other sometimes, it's cool that we can actually be nice to each other and joke around together. We aren't like the twins that can't stand each other, but at least we aren't like the twins that dress exactly the same and end up being 40 year old virgins together. We are just right.
