RP:]] St Luke's Reform School For Young Gentlemen

"Well, it is for you, and my plan for you to find it has worked so far," I say to him as I crawl off of his lap and sit on the bed looking at him.

I watch as he pulls off the paper off the box and bites into his lip as he does so.

"I think you'll like it. Zacky said it was perfect," I tell him.

But I have a feeling that Zacky would have said ANYTHING to get out of that store.

I laugh at his confusion before taking the first box from him and just leaving him with another box.

"It's what's inside that box that matters," I tell him before pointing to the box he's holding delicately.

"So, open it. Come on, I wanna see your face and I need to tell you something about it."

I just hope that I can remember my mini speech I had planned.

I pause for a second as he does too, he's just looking down at the present and I'm not sure what he's thinking or how he feels about it. I'm a little worried now.

"This is?" I question him as he just keeps looking down at the little glass block with the words to a song I wrote for him, that he doesn't know about yet, engraved into the glass.

"You hate it, don't you?" I ask him, a little disappointed by his silence.

I knew I should have listened to Zacky and brought him a pole dancing kit.

"Well, I'm glad you do like it," I say to him, "I was a little worried there," I look over the glass again, the words sounding so fresh in my mind, the moment I thought of them, me and Matt just sitting on the floor in the mall singing it together to see if it worked.

I take a deep breath, "yeah, I kinda wrote a song for you. A little help from Zacky and Matt was involved, but only because they kinda wanted to leave the engraving store."

I smile at him, "it's part of the lyrics. The chorus really. And my plan was to give you the first part of the chorus on this block for your seventeen. And, the other idea I had was to get the second part of the glass with the second part of the chorus made and give it to you, as a way to ask you to marry me."

I blush a little, "it's a little corny. But, the idea sounded pretty good at the time when I was trying to think of something romantic and unusual to get you."

"I'm glad that you said that and didn't run away like I thought you might do," I say after I let out a sigh of relief and get a little more comfortable on the bed again.

That had to be the first time I have really being nervous about what Brian's thought of me in our relationship. I always feel like the one that knows all, and the one that has the control. But he had it all there, a future marriage proposal, a life together and a suggestion of maybe even children. He could have just ran away, but he didn't, and I am so happy right now.

"On that day, I'll let you hear the song as well," I say to him, "because, well, honestly, it's not finished yet," I laugh.

I clear my throat as Brian looks at me in confusion as I grab onto his hands and I feel as nervous as I did on this day twenty-six years ago.

"In the brightest hour of my darkest day, I realised, what is wrong with me," I pause for a little bit as I try to pick up the beat again in my head.

"Can't get over you, can't get through to you, It's been a halter-skelter, romance from the start. Take these memories
that are haunting me, of a paper man cut into shred by his own pair of scissors. He'll never forgive him... he'll never forgive him..."

I look right up at Brian now, to see his reaction to the next part of the song. I just hope to God that he remembers that day like I do.

"Because days! Come and go! But my feelings for you are forever..." I bite into my lip and look at Brian for any signs of joy, happiness, fear, anything but confusion, "you remember?"

I sigh in relief as he says that to me, telling me that he's remembered that.

"Good, so that wasn't all in vain then," I laugh as I rub the back of my neck.

Well, he's smiling, that's got to be a good sign, right? That maybe he wants to marry me and this wasn't just a waste of time. But even if it is, I turn to the draw behind me so he can't tell me yes or no before he's even seen the little glass block.

"Well, I kept to my word, after seeing that you kept the other block for all these years..." I fish into the drawer and pull out the glass only wrapped in some tissue paper.

I turn back to Brian with a smile on my face as I hand him the heart shaped glass, "So Brian, will you take my heart? Will you marry me?"

I grin like a Cheshire cat at his answer, so glad that he actually said yes to me.

"Yay me," I say in a small corny voice before clapping my hands together and laughing.

"Well, I haven't exactly brought you a ring yet, the glass was pretty much going to be that. But, I have got an idea of what we can do, rather than rings."

I should tell him about my plans to go down to the tattoo shop later on today, but I think one surprise at a time is enough.

"Aww, now you have spoilt the surprise," I pout at him in mock hurt, "I had the onion rings in the freezer and everything."

I laugh before wrapping my arm around his naked skin, that's surprisingly hot even though he's shaking and wet like me.

"Well, my plan was for the two of us to go tattoo hunting today. And either get matching tattoos or find out about getting ring tattoos," I suggest to him.

"Ooooh don't worry about that, I have a little spot saved for you," I grin before patting the tattoo on the side of my thigh.

The one that I remember getting a few weeks after Brian and I broke up, when I left the school to go to college. Me and Matt went out together to get tattoos for our lovers, well, for me ex lover. I was angry at Brian for what he did to me, but I wanted to get the best tattoo ever to remember him by. My angel.

"Yeah," I nod, unsure whether he was joking about that or not, he just looks so happy all the time right now that it's hard to tell, "if you are loaded up on booze."

I laugh myself before adjusting myself on the bed and sitting opposite Brian, my legs crossed in front of me before I grab onto his hand.

"So, we can book out appointments sometime this week, so we can get that all sorted, before we sort out all the wedding stuff."

"Aww man, I'm sorry I couldn't top Disney World," I say while cocking my eyebrow at him, still not sure if he is joking.

I'm so happy that he said yes. I don't know what I would have done if he had turn me down. He's the only person I have ever wanted to marry, even when we were apart and even when he wouldn't talk to me for half a year.

"Right, so what's on the agenda for you birthday boy?"

[[Chris/Becky now? Or do you have any other plans for Bri-Bri.]]

"Hmm, well, since we just had a pretty amazing round of that in the shower. Maybe we can see if we can top that," I say to Brian before moving closer to him and just lingering my lips over his.

I avoid letting him kissing my lips, just breathing a hot breath over his lips. Moving my head around with a grin on my face as he tries to make our lips make contact.

"Gotta try harder than this."

I cringe as a pang of pain goes through my nose and up to my head, "Ouch."

I rub at my own nose before narrowing my eyes at Brian. I take my hand away and glare at him.

"You. Did that on purpose!" I say in a raised voice, trying to sound a little pissed off at him, even though I am blatantly playing.

I jump at him, pushing him flat down on the bed and pushing his shoulders further into the bed, looming over him.

"And now, you're going to pay for that," I say as I grin evilly down at him and watch him, liking this angle a lot.
